As a film and live event composer in Hollywood, Hale wrote for Disney, Universal, CBS and his work was nominated for Best Composer by the Academy of Interactive Sciences. His CD, Small Miracles, showcases the best jazz standards from the Great American Songbook. Hale’s collection of original songs, Lost & Found, reflects his deep respect for great songwriting and vocal expression. Always eager to push the envelope of new musical realms, Hale has a strong background in musical theater and is co-book writer and composer for the musical, Songs From The Tall Grass, which made its world-premier at Ford’s Theatre in Washington D.C. and is the recipient of the National Endowment for the Arts American Masterpieces: Three Centuries of Artistic Genius and Challenge America grants.
